About the Role

At LEGOLAND® New York Resort, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and for our teams. As one of our new Retail Associates, you’ll play a vital guest-facing role, dynamic and fast paced.

As a Retail Associate you play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences by delivering exceptional customer service and supporting daily retail operations throughout the park. From assisting guests with purchases to maintaining eye-catching merchandise displays, this role is perfect for energetic, guest-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment. Throughout the day, you’ll engage with guests, support teammates, maintain store standards, and help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the LEGOLAND brand. This is a high-energy, collaborative team environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Shifts begin with a team meeting to review daily goals, promotions, and assignments. This is a seasonal, part-time role.

Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude
  • Assist guests in finding and selecting merchandise
  • Provide accurate product information, including pricing, promotions, and availability
  • Address guest questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally

Sales & Transactions

  • Operate POS systems and process cash, credit, and other payments accurately
  • Complete sales transactions efficiently
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to park policies

Store Operations & Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment
  • Replenish shelves, displays, and fixtures throughout the day
  • Ensure product tagging, pricing, and digital labels are accurate
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to leadership

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • Availability: Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
    • Heavy focus on weekend availability during off-peak times
    • Weekday availability expected during peak season ( Memorial Day–Labor Day)
  • Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
  • Friendly, approachable, and proactive team player
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

USD $16.25/Hr.
