About the Role:

The Retail & Dealer Marketing Manager, based in Mulgrave, is responsible for developing and delivering retail-focused marketing campaigns that drive website traffic, lead generation, dealer enquiries, and sales, while ensuring strong brand consistency across GWM and dealer communications. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, this role serves as the critical link between GWM ANZ’s brand strategy and on-the-ground dealer execution, translating national campaigns into effective local activity that supports sales targets, model launches, and network growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a national retail and dealer marketing strategy aligned with GWM brand, sales and go-to-market objectives.
• Translate national brand campaigns into effective retail-focused activity to support model launches, tactical campaigns and key retail moments.
• Monitor market and competitor activity to identify retail marketing best practice and emerging industry trends.
• Act as the primary marketing contact for the dealer network, building strong relationships and providing hands-on support and guidance.
• Partner closely with Sales, Go-To-Market, Network Development and Regional teams to align retail marketing with commercial priorities.
• Lead local area marketing (LAM) frameworks, templates and execution across digital, media, CRM and in-store channels.
• Ensure retail activity drives lead quality, showroom traffic and test drive conversion.
• Align dealer marketing with national digital and performance strategies, monitoring leads, cost efficiency and conversion metrics.
• Maintain brand governance by overseeing dealer advertising approvals and ensuring compliance with brand, legal and policy requirements.
• Manage retail marketing budgets and dealer co-op programs, providing performance reporting, insights and continuous optimisation.

Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years’ experience in marketing, with strong exposure to retail and dealer-based environments
• Automotive retail marketing experience preferred
• Proven experience translating national brand strategy into local execution
• Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with sales-led teams
• Experience managing agencies and multiple campaigns simultaneously
