Parkview Healthcare is actively hiring a Restorative Aide to support resident mobility, functional independence, and overall well-being. The Restorative Aide coordinates, implements, and provides restorative nursing care for residents under the direction of the Nursing Department and in collaboration with Rehabilitation Services.

Compensation: $18 - $19.50 per hour

Full-Time Days (7AM - 3:30PM / 8AM - 4:30PM) | Monday–Friday
Implement and participate in restorative programs as a Restorative Aide for individual residents
Assist residents with exercises, mobility programs, range-of-motion activities, and positioning as ordered
Facilitate the transition of residents from skilled rehabilitation services to restorative and preventative programs
Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing, Rehabilitation Nurse, and interdisciplinary team regarding resident goals and progress
Attend rehabilitation rounds and communicate restorative needs to appropriate staff
Maintain accurate restorative nursing documentation and progress records
Visit residents daily or as needed to ensure programs are appropriate and effective
Train and support primary caregivers in restorative techniques and proper care delivery
Monitor residents with range-of-motion and T&P orders to ensure compliance
Instruct and assist staff with splints, braces, prosthetics, and self-help devices
Identify restorative needs for new admissions and communicate findings to appropriate personnel
Communicate with families regarding resident progress during care conferences or as needed
Remain proficient in the use of wheelchairs, walkers, canes, lifts, scales, and restorative equipment
Put resident care first and ensure the highest quality of service
Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
Restorative care experience preferred
CMT certification is a plus and preferred
Ability to motivate, encourage, and support residents
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional demands of the position
Must be able to function independently and demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity
Must be able to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of at least 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
Must be able to assist with the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
