Restoration Supervisor Trainee — Paid On-the-Job Training

Enjoy working with your hands and ready to build a career? SERVPRO Team Mongan is hiring a Restoration Supervisor Trainee—a hands-on position with paid training designed to prepare you to lead a restoration crew.

You’ll start by learning the work alongside experienced team members, helping homes and businesses recover from water and fire damage. As your skills grow, you’ll take on greater responsibility and learn how to organize jobs, support a crew, and communicate confidently with customers.

Previous restoration experience is preferred, but not required. We’re looking for someone dependable, motivated to learn, and ready to work toward a leadership role.

Learn the Work. Develop the Leadership Skills.

This is an active field position where you’ll perform restoration work while developing the skills needed to supervise others.

Learn Restoration from the Ground Up

• Respond with the team to water and fire damage emergencies.
• Perform water extraction, drying, cleanup, and demolition as directed.
• Learn to set up, operate, and care for specialty restoration equipment.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles so crews have the tools and supplies they need.
• Identify and communicate safety hazards, job site conditions, and equipment needs.

Build Toward Supervising a Crew

• Learn how to organize job site activities and establish an efficient workflow.
• Develop the ability to give clear instructions and support teammates.
• Learn to monitor work quality, track progress, and address problems.
• Build skills in job documentation, equipment tracking, and responsible use of materials.
• Take on additional responsibility under the guidance of experienced supervisors as your training progresses.

Support Customers Through the Recovery Process

• Learn to explain restoration activities and respond to customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Treat customers and their property with care and respect.

Advancement to Restoration Supervisor will depend on demonstrated skills, job performance, leadership readiness, and business needs.

What You’ll Need

• A valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A commitment to safe work practices, teamwork, and learning.
• Previous restoration, construction, or related experience is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus but not required.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• This role involves physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor restoration environments, including:
• Regularly lifting at least 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Climbing ladders and working at ceiling heights.
• Working in tight spaces, including crawl spaces and attics.
• Repeatedly pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
• Working with and around cleaning agents.

Compensation: $33,280.00 - $43,680.00 per year
