The Project Manager oversees restoration projects from initial assessment through final completion, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role serves as the primary point of contact between clients, crews, subcontractors, and insurance carriers, and requires strong leadership on active job sites throughout the greater NYC and Long Island area.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day management of water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation projects from start to finish
  • Conduct on-site inspections and develop accurate scopes of work using Xactimate
  • Coordinate and supervise crews, technicians, and subcontractors on active job sites
  • Schedule projects, order materials/equipment, and manage job costs to meet budget and profitability goals
  • Maintain thorough job file documentation (photos, moisture logs, daily reports) for insurance billing
  • Communicate directly with property owners, adjusters, and carriers to explain scope, timeline, and progress
  • Negotiate and agree on scope of repairs with insurance adjusters
  • Ensure compliance with industry-standard safety policies, procedures, and building codes
  • Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours/weekend jobs
  • Identify and resolve delays, complications, or client concerns quickly and professionally
Requirements
  • 2+ years of project management experience, restoration/mitigation industry preferred
  • Proficiency with Xactimate software required
  • Working knowledge of water, fire, and mold restoration processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Valid, clean driver's license and reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; fluent English required
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); construction/business-related coursework a plus
Work Location
In person — job sites throughout NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, and surrounding areas.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
