Restoration Crew Lead
SERVPRO of Racine County
Pay Range: $18-$21/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, plus rotating on-call responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Restoration Crew Lead at SERVPRO
As a Restoration Crew Lead, you'll be the person helping guide projects from the field while leading technicians through water, fire, mold, biohazard, and storm damage restoration work.
Your day may start by meeting your crew at the shop, loading equipment, reviewing the day's schedule, and heading to a customer's home or business. Once on site, you'll assess the work to be completed, communicate with the customer, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure all work is performed safely and according to SERVPRO standards.
Throughout the day, you'll monitor drying equipment, perform demolition, document job progress, complete moisture readings, take photos, and maintain communication with Project Managers. You'll also help train newer technicians and ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional.
No two jobs are exactly the same. One day you may be extracting water from a flooded basement, while the next you may be leading fire cleanup, mold remediation, or storm damage mitigation efforts. If you enjoy leading a team, solving problems, and helping people during difficult situations, this role may be a great fit.
