Restoration Crew Chief
Hours: Full Time
Shift: Monday through Friday (with on-call rotation and possible nights/weekend work)
Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

Manage and complete jobs according to SERVPRO® processes per work order. Respond to service calls, including emergency after-hours calls as part of an on-call rotation. Set up and establish efficient job flow, coordinate requirements for the job, complete job documentation, perform and supervise production work, and monitor assigned jobs from start to finish. Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site. Communicate and establish relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage restoration crews on fire, water, mold, and cleaning jobs from start to completion
• Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours incidents, as part of an on-call rotation
• Perform initial site inspections, assess scope of work, and develop job action plans
• Set up containment, equipment, and workflow to ensure efficient job execution
• Supervise, train, and direct Production Technicians to ensure quality work and adherence to SERVPRO® standards
• Monitor job progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure timelines and customer expectations are met
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, insurance representatives, and management
• Complete and oversee job documentation, including photos, moisture logs, and daily progress updates in SERVPRO systems
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with SERVPRO® processes, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Identify safety hazards and enforce proper use of PPE and safety controls on all job sites
• Manage equipment and materials, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and inventory control
• Control labor and material costs to meet budget and profitability goals
• Perform hands-on production work alongside crew as needed
• Promote excellent customer service and identify opportunities for add-on services

Qualifications:

• Effective written and oral communication
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
• High school diploma/GED
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Ability to travel locally or out of state when necessary

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to chemicals
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
• Ability to work nights/weekends when needed, as well as a rotating on call schedule
