YOUR PURPOSE

This hybrid role combines responsibilities as a Restocking and Operations Technician (60%) and a Sales Advisor at our Saskatoon Branch (40%).

The technician spends part of their time travelling to customer sites to manage industrial vending machine operations, including inventory replenishment, equipment maintenance, and customer support.

The other part of this role is performed within the branch, where the sale advisor welcomes customers, provides product recommendations, supports sales activities, and delivers an outstanding customer experience in accordance with SPI standards.

This position is expected to evolve over time. While initially performed as a hybrid role, the technician responsibilities are expected to increase based on business needs and may eventually lead to a full-time Technician position.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the Restocking Technician:
• Manage all activities related to the preparation, delivery, restocking and reception of goods dedicated to filling vending machines;
• Act as liaison between SPI staff and external agents (suppliers, customers, etc.);
• Analyze and resolve machine operating problems and maintain machines in good order;
• Participate in the implementation of inventory management systems at our customers’ sites;
• Work on continuous improvement of existing systems.
Responsibilities of the Sales Advisor:
• Greet, guide, and advise customers with the ultimate purpose of making sales while ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty;
• Analyze customers’ requests and propose various products and services tailored to their specific needs;
• Present and propose services of the SPI solution and describe their benefits;
• Support the Warehouse Team when needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKIMNG FOR
• Ability to work in a computerized environment;
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and deduction skills;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to learn and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
• Hold a valid driver’s license (Full G) and a driving record meeting our requirements;
• Available for overnight stay if/when required;
• Be able to lift, slide and place on the ground packages generally weighing from 15 to 50 lbs.
