Be the difference behind an Exceptional Guest Experience. As a Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of the team, leading from the front and helping create the exceptional experiences that make a stay at InterContinental Hayman truly memorable.

Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll take ownership of each shift, inspiring your team to deliver warm, personalized and seamless service while keeping the operation running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for your colleagues, supporting them to perform at their best and stepping in with confidence when challenges arise.

From coordinating with departments across the hotel to anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is delivered to our high standards, you’ll play an important role in bringing the InterContinental Hayman experience to life.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Be a warm welcome that ensures a memorable guest experience, leading through example./
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone
• Be a trusted contact for all guests and team members, help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and complaint handling (advising and escalating to management when necessary)
• Support venue managers in the leading of a small team opening, during and closing service.
• Work with management in hitting your departmental financial targets
• Must hold a QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
• Experience in a Supervisory role is a must.
• Able to take the lead with all guests, helping them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and complaint handling.
• Able to adhere to policies for guidelines on presentation, grooming and punctuality as well as upholding those standards within a team.
• Experience in developing and maintaining cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team
• Willing and able to work a flexible roster

Base rate $31.39 + penalties + loading
