- Promote trust and respect among associates
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding menu items sold within the restaurant
- Gain and maintain knowledge of menu items sold within the restaurant and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about the menu
- Be visible and actively greet, engage and assist customers
- Process customer transactions, accurately, and efficiently; understand the Point of Sale (POS) system, and handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, coupons and checkout procedures according to company policy
- Understand and adhere to the company's limits on cash shortages and/or overages and work honestly and effectively to control loss
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on selling alcohol
- Fill customer orders correctly and efficiently to provide a great customer experience
- Assist line cooks and prep product for menu items and assist bar team; deliver food to customers within Food Hall
- Update sign boards and clean tables in area
- Perform opening and closing cleaning and setup activities to be ready for business
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify management of any items in need of repair
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Effective communication skills
