Restaurant Manager

at Parian Chronicle Destination by Hyatt in Paros.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on quality and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated team.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct inventory audits and oversee supply chain management.
  • Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury or resort environment.
  • Fluency in Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven experience in financial management and cost control.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Paros if not a current resident.
