Léon 1909 is a countryside French and Italian fine-dining restaurant located on Shelter Island in the Hamptons.

We are known for elevated hospitality standards, a calm and welcoming dining experience, and a team culture rooted in quality, respect, and care.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house operations and service standards
• Own the floor during peak seasonal volume
• Coach and support team members
• Maintain polished, detail-oriented service execution
• Communicate clearly with staff and leadership
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Handle guest needs with professionalism and warmth

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience
• Fine dining or upscale casual background required
• Experience in chef-driven or standards-focused environments preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Food safety knowledge or certification preferred
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Stable work history

• Seasonal relocation required (May through October)
