About the role
As Restaurant Manager – Altura, you will lead the overall operation of Altura, the Italian Coastal all-day dining restaurant at The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel.
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will take ownership of the restaurant’s guest experience, team leadership, operational excellence and financial performance across breakfast, lunch, dinner and terrace service. You will ensure that Altura’s concept and service philosophy come to life consistently throughout every dining experience.
With breakfast as an important part of the operation alongside all-day dining and terrace service, you will lead a diverse team and work closely with Culinary and Beverage to create warm, engaging and memorable experiences for our guests.
This is a seasonal position starting in March 2027, joining our pre-opening team ahead of the hotel’s Summer 2027 opening and continuing through our first summer operating season until approximately mid-September 2027. The position is intended for candidates interested in building a long-term seasonal journey with Four Seasons in Gstaad.
What you will do
Lead all Altura Restaurant operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner and terrace service
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing restaurant team, creating a culture of engagement, accountability and service excellence
Ensure exceptional service quality, guest recognition and consistent execution of Altura’s Italian Coastal concept and service philosophy
Drive revenue, profitability, labour productivity and effective management of operating expenses
Work closely with Culinary, Beverage and other operational teams to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience
Build strong relationships with guests, owners and repeat visitors while leading service recovery and personalised experiences
Lead outlet readiness and support seasonal promotions, special events, terrace activations and continuous improvement initiatives
What you bring
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field is preferred
Minimum four years of leadership experience within luxury restaurants, luxury hotels, all-day dining operations or fine dining environments
Proven ability to lead and develop teams while delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences
Strong operational and commercial understanding, including revenue, profitability, labour productivity and cost management
Excellent organisational, communication and guest relations skills
Fluent English and German and/or French; additional languages are advantageous
