SWGP Brands is Hiring a Restaurant Manager!

Location: Ruidoso, NM (On-Site)
Schedule: Full-Time (Flexible – includes evenings, weekends, holidays)
Pay Rate: $75,000 – $100,000 annually + bonus potential
Employment Type: Full-Time

SWGP Brands is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations at a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant in Ruidoso, New Mexico. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a seasoned operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering both operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.

This position requires strong back-of-house expertise, the ability to lead an experienced kitchen team, and confidence in managing financial performance in a high-revenue environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Manage kitchen operations with a strong focus on food quality, consistency, and execution
• Monitor and control labor, food costs, and overall operational expenses
• Analyze financial reports and adjust strategies to meet or exceed budget goals
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours to ensure excellent guest experience
• Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members
• Build and maintain relationships within the local Ruidoso community

Requirements

• 10+ years of restaurant management experience
• Minimum 3 years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong kitchen/back-of-house and culinary knowledge
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control operational costs
• Experience managing high-volume casual dining restaurants ($3.5M+ in annual sales)
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to relocate to the Ruidoso, NM area
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
