Job Description

Fixins Soul Kitchen, one of the nation’s best soul food concepts with locations in Sacramento, CA, Los Angeles, CA, and Tulsa, OK has just opened in Downtown Detroit.
We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead our Detroit team. We are looking for an individual who has experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume full-service environment. Candidates should exhibit the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.  Restaurant managers with prior Bar Manager experience are encouraged to apply. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Several years’ experience as a restaurant manager or similar position.Good business math skills with the ability to analyze cost reports effectively to drive greater profitability.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation.Good computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in the use of internet and ability to utilize computerized business tools such as email, learning management systems, and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other appropriate software.Strong oral and written communication skillsExperience managing large staff to excellence a in fast paced environment.
