Being a Manager at Whataburger is an incredibly important job and is a key position for our operational success. The Manager’s role is essential to produce quality products, world class customer experiences, and team member retention. You’ll serve as both a restaurant leader and a team member. You’ll work hard to serve the customers in your restaurant and to make each individual on your team reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Operating Partners in Daily Operations of a Multi-Million dollar business
  • Run Excellent Operations through floor management
  • Lead and Inspire Teams – Create an environment of service excellence with urgency
  • Provide Extraordinary Hospitality and Customer Service
  • Handles customer issues immediately with the upmost respect to the customer
  • Establish and maintain positive, professional, and effective working relationships
  • Be a Problem Solver
  • Food preparation and delivery – maintaining quality standards
  • Fiscal responsibilities
  • Maintain open and professional communication with management and team
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
  • Supports with hiring, scheduling, and conducts other restaurant administrative responsibilities
  • Achieve and Maintain Certifications

Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand during entire shift
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push
  • Must be able to read (orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc.)
  • Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and product items
  • Frequent washing of hands

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to build and maintain an effective working relationship with management and co-workers
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with strong leadership skills
  • Experience in restaurant, retail or hospitality setting
  • Food Safety Certification preferred

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 per year plus bonuses
