The Opportunity
As a General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the overall success of your restaurant. Reporting to the District Manager, you’ll lead Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members while creating a culture focused on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and results.
You’ll be responsible for developing your people, delivering a great guest experience, managing restaurant performance, and ensuring your restaurant consistently meets Huddle House standards.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing restaurant team.
- Build a strong talent bench to support future growth.
- Create an engaging, positive workplace where Team Members can succeed.
- Coach and motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to reach their full potential.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience through exceptional food, hospitality, and service.
- Lead daily restaurant operations while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, safety, and speed of service.
- Execute local and national marketing initiatives and promotional programs.
- Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, food costs, and other controllable expenses.
- Review restaurant financial performance, including preliminary P&Ls, and partner with your District Manager to identify opportunities.
- Ensure equipment and restaurant facilities are properly maintained.
- Conduct team meetings and communicate operational priorities clearly.
- Ensure required HR, payroll, onboarding, performance, and employee documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliance with company HR, food safety, sanitation, security, and operational policies.
- Lead from the front by demonstrating strong knowledge of restaurant operations, systems, and technology.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for leaders who know how to run the business while taking care of their people.
Successful candidates will have:

3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service, fast-food, or a similar high-volume restaurant environment
- Experience leading and developing restaurant teams
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, scheduling, labor management, and P&L management
- Current ServSafe Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities
- The ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- A high sense of urgency and strong accountability
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- A self-motivated, hands-on leadership style
- Reliable transportation and a reliable method of communication
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand for extended periods
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and around high temperatures
- Work effectively with others in close quarters
- Lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Work with various cleaning products
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and speed during high-volume periods
- Perform all essential duties of the position as required
