At Ophtapharm AG, we manufacture sterile ophthalmic medicines that are used by patients around the world. From our FDA- and EU-GMP-certified site in Hettlingen near Winterthur, we develop, fill and package high-quality eye care products for international markets.

Responsible Person (RP/FvP) (60-100%)

Quality, compliance and patient safety are at the heart of everything we do. As the independent quality authority for our manufacturing site, you will play a key role in quality-critical decisions and help shape the future direction of our quality organization and serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team.

Your Role

• Act as the Responsible Person (RP/FvP) in accordance with Swiss regulatory requirements.
• Provide oversight of GMP compliance across our manufacturing operations.
• Assess quality-critical topics and support sound decisions that protect patients and product quality.
• Represent Ophtapharm during Swissmedic inspections and regulatory audits.
• Serve as a trusted partner who balances compliance, business needs and pragmatic solutions.

Your Profile

• MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Eligible to act as RP/FvP under Swiss regulatory requirements and recognized by Swissmedic.
• Swissmedic-recognized RP/FvP with experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Strong expertise in GMP, regulatory requirements and quality risk-based decision making.
• Fluent in English, German skills are an advantage.
