Job Description

• Provide strategic oversight and governance across regulated services
• Ensure all services meet and exceed regulatory requirements and standards
• Act as the main point of accountability for service quality and compliance
• Support and monitor Registered Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, including inspections and compliance monitoring
• Drive continuous improvement plans across all services
• Review audits, reports, and performance data to maintain service excellence
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and risk management processes are robust and effective
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and person-centred care

• Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or in a senior leadership role within social care
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CQC or Ofsted, depending on service type)
• Proven track record of managing or overseeing multiple services
• Excellent leadership, governance, and decision-making skills
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and compliance requirements
• Ability to build effective relationships with managers, stakeholders, and regulators
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
