Your tasks
• You lead and develop the HV Expertise & Technology team, ensuring the management and continuous development of the experts responsible for high-voltage primary and secondary installations (>20 kV up to 380 kV)
• You act as the technical authority for high-voltage technologies within Creos and represent the company in national and international technical working groups and organizations such as ENTSO-E and CIGRE
• You define and implement the long-term HV technology strategy, ensuring alignment with network objectives, regulatory requirements and asset management priorities
• You establish, maintain and continuously improve technical standards, specifications and reference frameworks for HV equipment and protection systems, in line with international standards and industry best practices
• You validate the technical requirements of high-voltage connection requests and major network projects and provide final technical recommendations for strategic decisions
• You monitor technological and regulatory developments, evaluate emerging technologies and drive the integration of innovative solutions such as substation digitalization, advanced protection systems and automation technologies
• You develop and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, industrial partners and international organizations to anticipate industry developments and influence future technical standards
• You define and steer the long-term asset renewal strategy for high-voltage installations, ensuring network reliability, operational performance and the replacement of ageing equipment
• You provide technical analyses, recommendations and expert advice to management regarding technology choices, investment priorities and risk mitigation measures
• You contribute actively to the identification, assessment and mitigation of technical and operational risks affecting the high-voltage network
Your profile
• You hold a university degree (Master level) in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment, electrical protection systems and IEC standards is required
• You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
• You demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making and stakeholder management skills
• You have excellent analytical and reporting capabilities and are curious and committed to continuous improvement and technological excellence
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English, German and French. Knowledge of Luxembourgish will be considered an advantage
