Responsibilities

You are responsible for creating an ideal environment and conditions that enable plant growth and optimal tomato production in both the short and long term.

• You create an ideal growing climate for the tomato plants by making optimal use of the greenhouse technology.

• By collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data, you make daily adjustments that lead to optimization.

• You ensure integrated crop protection and organize the scouting of diseases, pests, and beneficials.

• You collaborate and coordinate daily with your colleagues from labor and energy. Together, you strive for sustainable returns on energy and labor investments.

• In time, you will take on a functional leadership role within a team.

Profile

• You work with an analytical and forward-looking mindset.

• You actively seek optimization and enjoy innovation and development.

• You have a passion for working with nature.

• You have a scientific or engineering academic background in a biological field (e.g., bioscience engineer, industrial engineer, master's in biology, ...).

• Experience in a greenhouse or with tomatoes is a plus.
