As a Response Health Centre Security Guard Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for staff, patients, and visitors in a high-sensitivity setting.

• No free on-site parking available
• Site is accessible via public transportation
• Valid Use of Force certification (next available course: first week of April)

Responsibilities for Response Health Centre Security Guard

• Operate site-provided metal detecting wand to screen patients entering the facility
• Monitor and assess potential security risks and respond in accordance with site protocols
• Maintain accurate records of screenings and report incidents or concerns
• Provide calm, respectful, and professional interactions with patients in high-stress situations
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Qualifications for Response Health Centre Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Use of Force certification required
• Hold a Manitoba valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in computer skills
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure environments
