Job Description

The MMC Product Manager will serve as the end-to-end owner of assigned product lines and system solutions within the Power Conversion Systems (PCS) portfolio (e.g., MV-UPS, MVDC, and MMC valves technologies).

This role is accountable for product strategy, technology development, and full lifecycle ownership, spanning R&D, new product introduction (NPI), commercialization, and operational execution. The Product Manager will act as the central integrator across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, commercial, and services functions, driving both technical excellence and P&L performance, as well as be the key interface with the GE Vernova GSI and ARC organizations regarding MMC technologies.

À propos du rôleEn tant que Responsable Produit MMC (Modular Multilevel Converter), vous êtes le/la garant·e de la stratégie et du cycle de vie complet de nos gammes de produits et solutions systèmes au sein du portefeuille Power Conversion Systems(PCS), incluant les technologies MV-UPS, MVDC et les valves MMC. Véritable chef·fe d'orchestre, vous assurez l'alignement entre les besoins du marché, l'innovation technique et la performance financière, tout en agissant comme point de contact clé pour nos organisations GSI et ARC.

Vos missions principales

  • Stratégie et Vision Produit :Définir et piloter la stratégie produit (systèmes MV-UPS pour datacenters, MVDC pour le réseau/offshore, etc.) en développant des feuilles de route innovantes alignées sur la croissance du business.

  • Pilotage du Cycle de Vie :Orchestrer toutes les phases, de la R&D à l'industrialisation (NPI - New Product Introduction), en passant par la gestion des coûts, la qualité et l'amélioration continue.

  • Performance Commerciale et Marché :Collaborer avec les équipes Ventes et Marketing pour définir les propositions de valeur, soutenir les activités d'offres techniques (ITO - Inquiry to Order) et agir comme ambassadeur·trice produit auprès de nos clients et partenaires.

  • Exécution et Opérations :Garantir la livraison des projets dans les délais et les budgets impartis en coordonnant les fonctions d'ingénierie, de fabrication, de sourcing et de services.

  • Responsabilité Financière (P&L) :Piloter la performance financière de vos produits (croissance du revenu, marges, gestion des investissements R&D et CAPEX) pour maximiser la rentabilité totale.

Votre profil

  • Formation :Diplôme d'ingénieur (Bachelor ou Master) en génie électrique, systèmes de puissance ou domaine connexe.

  • Expérience :Une expérience significative en gestion de produits, ingénierie ou direction de systèmes dans le secteur de la conversion de puissance.

  • Compétences techniques et business :Solide vision stratégique alliée à une expertise technique, expérience démontrée dans la gestion de produits complexes et compréhension des enjeux financiers (P&L).

  • Savoir-être :Leadership transversal et capacité à influencer au sein d'une organisation matricielle complexe ; approche orientée client et marché.

  • Langues :Maîtrise de l'anglais indispensable pour évoluer dans notre environnement global.

As the MMC Product Manager, you will serve as the end-to-end owner of assigned product lines and system solutions within the Power Conversion Systems (PCS) portfolio (e.g., MV-UPS, MVDC, and MMC valve technologies). You will lead product strategy, technology development, and full lifecycle ownership, spanning R&D, New Product Introduction (NPI), commercialization, and operational execution. You will act as the central integrator across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, commercial, and services functions, driving both technical excellence and P&L performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Ownership:Define and lead product strategy across domains such as MV-UPS (data centers, industrial) and MVDC (grid, offshore, renewables). Develop roadmaps aligned with market needs and business growth targets.

  • End-to-End Lifecycle Leadership:Own all aspects from R&D/innovation to NPI, qualification, and industrialization. Partner with operations for cost-efficient production and ensure continuous product reliability and quality.

  • Commercial & Market Leadership:Partner with Sales and Marketing to define value propositions, competitive positioning, and support technical bids (ITO). Act as the primary product champion for customers and executive leadership.

  • Program & Execution Oversight:Align with Program Managers and Technical Leaders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of NPI and customer solutions (OTR - Order to Remittance).

  • Financial & P&L Accountability:Own product-level financial performance, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost-out initiatives. Lead cross-functional decisions to optimize lifecycle profitability.

Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience:Significant experience in product management, engineering, or systems leadership within power conversion systems.

  • Core Skills:Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary products across their full lifecycle, combined with strong business acumen and P&L responsibility. Experience in industrial, utility, or data center applications is preferred.

  • Competencies:Strategic thinking, strong technical depth, cross-functional influence without authority, and a customer-centric, market-driven approach.

  • Communication:Ability to operate effectively within a complex, global, matrixed organization.
