We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with an infant in the Stanley, WI area. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping through consistent routines and gentle guidance.
Wage:
• $14.13/hourly
Schedule:
• To be officially discussed and determined between provider and managing party.
• Authorized 20 hrs. per week; schedule to be mutually agreed upon.
Tasks:
• Respite care is to be conducted in the family’s home.
• Provide 1v1 care and supervision during all activities.
• Encourage participation in age-appropriate activities such as playing peek a boo, pat-a-cake, or popping bubbles.
• Assist with care needs such as diaper changes and bottle feeding, when needed.
• Be comfortable working with the family to try and meet new milestones (ie. introducing solids)
Requirements:
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.
• Pet Friendly- 2 dogs in home.
