This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with an energetic young boy in the Eau Claire, WI area. The ideal candidate would be someone who has the ability to manage anger outbursts and promote self-regulation and coping skills. 

WAGE
$14.13/hourly
Mileage Reimbursement (while kiddo is in the vehicle)

SCHEDULE
Respite care is to be scheduled between provider & family.
Authorized 6 hrs. per week; seeking weekday evenings -or weekends.
Opportunity For Additional Hours: Providers have the opportunity to work with siblings in separate 1v1 sessions throughout the week, allowing for additional hours with the same family. 

TASKS
Respite care is to be conducted either in the provider’s (your) home -or the community. Community outings are encouraged.
Provide 1v1 supervision and companionship.
Provide support during transitions and new routines.
Deescalate heightened behaviors
Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys basketball, football, riding bikes, and anything else that keeps you moving.

REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license 
Reliable transportation
Must pass a background check
Previous experience in caregiving, childcare, or respite is preferred but not required
