Hiring Respite Workers now in San Diego County for ComForCare (North San Diego)
Are you interested in working with clients with Intellectual Disabilities of all ages?
As a respite worker, you'll be someone who provides temporary relief and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs and their families. Your main goal is to work with clients to promote their independence, socialization, and community involvement, while ensuring that they're safe and well-cared for.

Job Requirements:Ideal candidates demonstrate a devotion to caring for others with reliability and compassion! Our caregivers provide a wide range of non-medical home care services, including but not limited to:

What we need to get you started:

  • Home Care Aide State Certification (we can help you get this!)
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test (we can also help with this!)
  • CPR certificate (we can also help with this!)
  • Ability to pass a fingerprint/background check
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality care and supervision to individuals in their homes or other settings.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Communicate regularly Supervisors about the care provided.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for the client.
