Job Description

Respite Care of America

RCoA)

is a subsidiary of Child Care
Aware® of America (CCAoA) that provides in-home respite child care—temporary,
short-term care that gives families a break from ongoing caregiving
responsibilities—to support military families with children who have special caregiving
needs. Building on years of success delivering this service through the
Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Respite Care, CCAoA formally
established RCoA in 2024 to expand and strengthen its support. RCoA matches
trained respite care providers with eligible Navy, Air Force, and Space Force
families enrolled in EFMP, ensuring primary caregivers have the support they
need to remain mission ready—knowing their children are safe and well cared for
by a qualified caregiver. Like CCAoA, RCoA is making child care strong—because
that makes America stronger
