Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who is passionate about pulmonary diagnostics and helping patients improve their respiratory health.

In this role, you will work closely with providers to perform a variety of advanced pulmonary procedures and diagnostic testing in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, thrives in a busy environment, and has strong pulmonary function testing experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret Full Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), averaging 8 or more studies per day
• Conduct Methacholine Challenge Testing
• Perform Maximal Voluntary Ventilation (MVV)
• Complete Maximal Inspiratory and Expiratory Pressure (MIP/MEP) Testing
• Perform Negative Inspiratory Force (NIF) Assessments
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and testing records
• Ensure quality control and proper operation of respiratory diagnostic equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Alabama licensure required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience performing pulmonary diagnostics and respiratory testing preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
