Respiratory Therapy Manager

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Respiratory Therapy Manager to lead our Respiratory Therapy Department. What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department
• Supervise, coach, and support respiratory therapy staff
• Oversee staffing, workflow, and departmental performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct respiratory therapy care as needed, including:
  • Ventilator management and weaning support
  • Patient assessment and respiratory treatments
  • ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, and diagnostic testing
  • Emergency response and airway management
• Support staff education, performance development, and engagement

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy (required)
• Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS within 3 months of hire
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
