In this role, you will provide the full spectrum of respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians, utilizing a wide range of modalities in alignment with established standards, protocols, and best practices. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal respiratory function and overall patient well-being.

This position is ideal for a clinically skilled and adaptable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, is committed to patient-centered care, and values continuous learning to stay current with evolving respiratory therapies and technologies.

Compensation for This Role:

Base Hourly Rate: $29.53
Geographical Differential: $6.93
Total Hourly Rate: $36.46

Please note that the total hourly rate represents the potential compensation for this position. The final offer may vary based on an individual's qualifications, skills, and experience.

In addition to the starting hourly rate, the following shift differentials apply:

$1.50/hour – Weekend Day Shift
$1.75/hour – Weekday Evening Shift
$3.00/hour – Weekend Evening Shift
$2.00/hour – Weekday Night Shift
$3.75/hour – Weekend Night Shift

Qualifications:

License and Certification Requirements
1. License to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of New York; and
2. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); and
3. Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Education and Experience
Graduation from a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

NOTE: 1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have their BLS/ACLS certification and critical care experience.
