Responsible to perform daily Respiratory Care procedures as assigned, which include but are not limited to: IPPB, medication administration via aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, percussion and postural drainage, mechanical ventilation, CPR, pulmonary function screening, and arterial blood gases. Able to perform in all emergency situations and provide intubation if applicable.
Must be a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must be licensed by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Kentucky and in accordance with the provisions of KRS chapter 314A. Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate. Critical Care and emergency Room experience preferred.
