Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join the nationally recognized team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington In this specialized role, you will provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill infants and children, utilizing the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies to support life-saving interventions and exceptional patient outcomes.

As a valued member of the pediatric critical care team, you'll collaborate with pediatric intensivists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Offering a competitive salary of $66,000 – $107,000 annually, this is an excellent opportunity for respiratory professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while advancing their careers in pediatric critical care.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Completion of the required education or training necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.

  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and respiratory care skills.

  • Ability to provide advanced respiratory care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or pediatric critical care environment.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

  • Experience managing pediatric mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, and advanced airway management.

  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
