We have an exciting opportunity to join the Attraction Team at Scottish Government as a Resourcing Campaign Lead, covering maternity leave for a period of 12 months. The team works alongside Hiring Managers and Resourcing colleagues to design and recommend end-to-end campaigns that attract the best talent. Working to optimise performance by delivering expert guidance and using innovative strategies that enhance our employer brand. Working to ensure cost effective recruitment solutions and a customer focused experience.

In this role you will provide a high-quality candidate attraction service through the effective and engaging marketing of vacancies and direct sourcing of candidates. You will create and deliver recruitment campaigns to support volume, specialist and senior recruitment, publishing content across multiple channels to maximise the reach of campaign messages. Alongside providing a tailored service to line managers recruiting to highly specialist or harder to fill roles by pro-actively sourcing candidates through targeted search, creation and management of talent pools.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with Hiring Managers, Recruiters and Programme Leads to create effective briefs for campaign and direct sourcing projects.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on attraction approaches and advertising channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple campaigns including all deliverables, timescales, resources and talent pools.
  • Work in collaboration with the Graphic and Content Designer to deliver larger scale campaign requirements.
  • Record services delivered and monitor the performance of campaigns and channels used.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), when engaging with customers and colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • Use customer-focused approaches when working with potential candidates in direct sourcing or talent pooling.
  • Establish productive relationships and work in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Seek out performance feedback and take appropriate action to make improvements.

Working pattern

This role is a temporary position with an expected commitment of 12 months
