The Goddard School® located in Fuquay is seeking a few dedicated and nurturing Resource Teachers to join our team. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Resource Teacher, you will collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities. This pivotal role includes classroom support, curriculum enhancement and adapting dynamically to meet the evolving educational needs of our school community. We have a few positions with flexible hours.

About the Role:Join The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina, NC and be an integral part of our nurturing educational environment. This exciting role provides the opportunity to work with children across various age groups, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Assist with meal preparation and clean-up in accordance with health standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Provide individual attention to children as needed to support their development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills.
• Adapt to different classrooms and age groups as needed throughout the day.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting, or willingness to train and learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing needs.
• Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
