Job Description

Job Location: Wake Forest, NC 27587
Position Type: Full TimeThe Resource Sharing and Logistics Specialist provides efficient resource sharing to remote customers, provides document delivery for faculty, and oversees various logistical operations to support the mission of the library.
- Manages the library's interlibrary loan program, including processing incoming and outgoing requests, communicating with other libraries, and tracking materials.
- Manages the library’s distance services including sending print books and copies of articles to customers.
- Oversees and provides document delivery services to faculty.
- Manages the setup and maintenance of the course reserves collection, including properly routing physical materials and electronic resources.
- Ensures that course reserves pages are established and populated prior to each semester and informs faculty about their individual course pages. Provides assistance with including course page links in CampusNet, if necessary.
- Coordinates with the Prison Program staff to provide remote research assistance services for students and faculty.
- Provides reference and research assistance to patrons including, but not limited to, resource sharing and reserves services.
- Maintains accurate records and statistics related to all resource sharing and reserves activities.
- Oversees stack maintenance projects including calculation and shifting.
- Oversees other logistical projects that support the library.

QualificationsRequired:
- This position is restricted to current SEBTS students and spouses of SEBTS students
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work independently
- 2 years of library public service experience
- Ability to train personnel and evaluate their work
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (ideally WMS) and Springshare products
Preferred:
- Prior experience with interlibrary loan and distance services
- Experience with research databases and finding library materials
- Knowledge of copyright law and fair use guidelines
- Prior experience with stack maintenance procedures
