The City of Jersey City is seeking a qualified Resource Service Coordinator for the Municipal Court. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for providing social service (quasi-clinical) supervision to program Case Managers and Peer Support Workers, and resource coordination with community program providers who deliver direct services. In addition, Coordinator will conduct oversight of individual service planning for participant-defendants based on presenting needs, and develop and deliver program mandate content and workshop facilitation.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in social services discipline (psychology, social work)
Required Experience: At three of experience in the field of social services (ie. mental health, substance abuse treatment), with supervisory functions preferred, or two years post-graduate degree. Experience working with young adult (18-24) population preferred.
This is a Civil Service Job and you must eventually pass and qualify for the applicable Civil Service title.
