Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Expedite and prioritize resource schedules. Maintain schedule templates for the division.
  • Perform field audits to ensure scheduling process is effective and quality standards are met.
  • Assist in obtaining municipality approval of building permits.
  • Provide real-time support to the field for re-schedules.
  • Monitor schedules and communicate delays. Collaborate with trade partners and construction managers to resolve scheduling issues.
  • Maintain the permitting process and issuance of building permits.
  • Follow processes and procedures to maximize resources to meet division goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the Recordables process.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and maintain Schedules and BWP.
  • Manage the communication and pre-start permitting activities with the Division Product Manager and/or CAD Technician in order to achieve start goals.
  • Use all components of the construction portal platform.
  • Manage lot and community schedule templates.
  • Runs capacity and trend reports.
  • Send standard communications to other departments.
  • Manage division pre-start process.
  • Complete job duties of RPC when required by the division.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Requires advanced knowledge within a specific discipline.
  • Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and minimum 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Some job areas may require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
  • Supervisory experience may be expected.

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong computer skills; literacy in scheduling software, MS Office
  • Must have a good understanding of the construction process and how the scheduled tasks interact with each other

Required Degrees, Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Associate’s Degree preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Position involves sitting, standing, driving, and/or movement, the ability to exert a minimal force of up to 50 pounds and occasionally exert up to 80 pounds of minimal force to carry, lift, push, pull, and otherwise move objects. Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and other means to reach and observe all areas of the building. Ability to work in various weather conditions – heat, rain, cold, etc.
