Resource and Tasking Analyst
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems—and find solutions that keep our nation safe.
As a Resource and Tasking Analyst supporting the USMC, you will apply military planning and staff coordination expertise to support command priorities, operational requirements, and readiness. You will use the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) to review, route, and track requirements, manage suspensions, and maintain visibility of task execution across the command element and major subordinate commands and elements. You will analyze higher headquarters guidance, organizational capabilities, available resources, and competing requirements to develop tasking options, identify shortfalls, and recommend responsible and supporting organizations for government approval. Working with staff sections and subordinate commands, you will refine tasking language, reconcile inputs, deconflict requirements, and prepare briefs, information papers, and recommendations that communicate options, risks, and resource implications. You will also assess progress, identify delays and unresolved issues, recommend corrective actions, and maintain accurate records to support accountability and continuity. You will leverage expertise in military headquarters operations, planning, task management, or resource analysis, and a working knowledge of Marine Corps organization, staff functions, and command relationships. You'll apply military writing, briefing, analytical, and coordination skills, along with skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and manage concurrent requirements under demanding timelines.
