Job Description

Position: Resort Services Sales Agent - Winter 26/27

Reports to: Resort Services Managers

Employment: Full-Time, Seasonal (November to Mid-April)

Compensation: $19.50/hour

Resort Services is a dynamic and fast-paced environment based in the Village Centre Mall. The team operates both the Tickets Desk and Activities desk to provide a unified guest experience within the Resort Services Department. Resort Services Agents are responsible for the sale and processing of lift tickets, seasons passes, activities, gift cards and all related promotional discounts affiliated with lift tickets. This also involves responding to guests queries via e-mail, telephone or in person.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell lift tickets through our main Resort Services Desk and other locations
  • Sell and process seasons passes, including staff and volunteer seasons passes through our main Resort Services Desk and other locations
  • Sell Adventure Activities and inform guests of specific requirements
  • Offer email, phone, social media and chat support for online purchases and activity booking
  • Support customers with lost persons and items, and first aid queries
  • Provide detailed information on facilities and activities available at Big White
  • Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner, referring to a manager when necessary
  • Comply with all company and department policies and procedures
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by resort management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with a commitment to exceed guest expectations
  • Experienced at payment processing and an aptitude to learn new systems
  • Ability to multitask and complete a varied number of tasks in a day
  • Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team environment
  • Proven self-motivation and ability to work well with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work in all-weather conditions on occasion
  • Tourism/Hospitality experience is an asset
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is an asset
  • RTP One Resort experience is an asset
  • FareHarbor experience is an asset

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties
  • Requires grasping, using tools, writing, standing, sitting, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
