THE OPPORTUNITY:

This position is responsible for providing administrative and sales support for Divisional Sales Managers and Sales Office with the goal of continually WOW'ing our customers and reps. Coordinate travel schedules and provide administrative support on all projects handled by the Sales Department. We're seeking an individual with tremendous energy, a wealth of positivity and a can-do attitude, as this position has proven to be a key member of our growing sales department.

This is an On-Site position based at our HQ in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Pay: $45,000-$50,000

A Typical Day (job functions) | Support + Plan + Schedule + Organize + Coordinate

  • Provide administrative support to Divisional Sales Managers - scheduling meetings, typing notes, preparing communication for reps and customers, running or watching reports for communication triggers, and assist in reaching deadlines
  • Lead event planning and execution for sales conferences, and regional/national shows. Occasional travel required
  • Lead, organize, coordinate and execute customer/rep visit arrangements ensuring all requirements for visit are met and the customer is WOW'ed on their visit.
  • Organize and execute sales focused projects (i.e. Holiday gifts for customers, sales rep goal communications, newsletters, milestone recognition, etc.)
  • Accurate and thorough tracking of budget/expenses/cost savings for sales activities and travel.
  • Coordinating and tracking sales onboarding, dissolutions, goals, ratings, etc.
  • Review and renewal of show contracts; create and coordinate show schedules, appointments, pack and manage show materials, etc.
  • Provide back-up assistance at the front-desk – greeting customers, answering phones, postage, supplies, etc.
  • Other job duties as assigned

Skills (qualifications) | Detail-Driven + Anticipate Needs + Desire to Help + Roll with the Flow

  • High school diploma, some college courses preferred, but not required
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent computer skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Type 45+ words per minute
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinate corporate events is required
  • Attention to details and deadlines is crucial
  • Anticipating needs and a driven desire to help where needed is crucial
  • Excellent communication skills, problem resolution, sound judgment, proactive
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Must be reliable, responsible, flexible and take direction well
  • Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through
  • Must be onsite (Detroit Lakes)

Lakeshirts is a custom apparel decorating company that started in our owner’s parents’ basement in 1984. We have since grown to an $200 million+ company in a 275,000 square foot facility. Our production floor includes 48 automatic screenprint presses, 32 multi-head embroidery machines, six 60-foot laser appliqué bridges, three sublimation presses, and a number of dogs running around the place.
