Job Description

Position: Resort Sales Agent

Department: Resort Sales
Reports to: Office & Resort Sales Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time Seasonal (Winter)
Location: Happy Valley, Big White Ski Resort

Join our team as a Resort Sales Agent, where you'll play a crucial role in creating unforgettable mountain adventures for visitors to Big White Ski Resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist both new and existing customers in planning their dream ski vacation
  • Handle reservations, modifications, cancellations, and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and webchat
  • Provide personalized recommendations on accommodation, lift tickets, lessons, equipment rentals, airfare and airport transportation
  • Build and sell comprehensive packages tailored to each guest's needs, including accommodation, lift tickets, lessons, rentals, airfare, and transfers
  • Offer after sales support via phone, email and webchat for all Big White Ski Resort core products: lift tickets, ski & board lessons and equipment rentals
  • Stay up-to-date with product offerings, promotions, and resort policies to ensure accurate information is provided to customers
  • Collaborate closely with other Big White departments, to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including running reports, and maintaining accurate records, as requested by management
  • Embrace opportunities for continual learning and development, including familiarizing yourself with new products and procedures.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner, referring to a supervisor or manager when necessary
  • Provide outstanding customer service, demonstrating excellent communication skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Previous experience in administration, contact centre operations, or hospitality
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding guest expectations
  • Ability to multitask and complete a varied number of tasks in a day
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is an asset
  • RTP One Resort experience is an asset
  • Maestro PMS experience is an asset
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds may be required
