Job Description

The Resort Activities Attendant is responsible for our guests and owners experience from arrival through the end of their stay by creating customer delight in every interaction and exceeding expectations. This position assists in the daily planning, implementation, and facilitation of a variety of planned activities for our guests and owners, including yoga, water sports & games, arts & crafts, bingo, movie nights, and other fun and games. Make recommendations on activities and events based on guest/owner preferences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Assists in planning and facilitation of activities, and actively communicates activities and events to all owners and guests
  • Ensures excellent customer service as it relates to our activities and functions property-wide
  • Monitors all activities to ensure the safety and security of all owners and guests
  • Partner with other departments to assist guests and owners. May provide food and beverage service to guests poolside
  • Computer use to prepare communications/flyers to be used throughout the resort. Ensure guest/owner expectations are exceeded
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 plus years of related experience preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Ability to obtain the following cards within 30 days of hire: Alcohol Awareness Card, Clark County Health Card, and a Food Handler’s Card

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a strong knowledge of the Las Vegas area and the attractions and activities that occur
  • Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Skill in attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills to communicate with the guests/owners
  • The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card and Clark County Health Card
  • Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
  • This position will be 75% outdoors at the pool during the summer months
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
