Resistance Welder

- Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00, Depends on Experience
- Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday / Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate spot and seam resistance welding equipment.
- Perform welding in accordance with approved weld schedules and engineering requirements.
- Inspect materials and completed welds for compliance with specifications.
- Test weld samples for strength, penetration, and nugget size requirements.
- Verify materials and maintain welding process controls.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and machine qualifications.
- Maintain production and quality records.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience working within AS9100 or NADCAP-controlled environments.
- Knowledge of AWS welding standards and aerospace customer specifications.
- Experience with welding stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace alloys.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, seeing, writing, and typing.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Occasional reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
- Vision correctable to 20/20, including the ability to distinguish colors and identify weld defects.
