Duties and responsibilities

We’re looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as a Resin Handler. As a part of our team, you will work in a dynamic environment to ensure that each plastic injection molding machine has the proper material to operate according to the production schedule. This position requires detailed understanding of material usage and the ability to closely follow instructions. Must become proficient in the use of plastic injection molding equipment.

  • Operate Gravametric blender, press material loaders, and electric pallet jack.
  • Understand resin mixing and weighing processes.
  • Conduct material changes on presses.
  • Operate overhead crane as needed.
  • Assist in spotting and changing mold when needed.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Visually inspect resin for quality and identify potential issues.
  • Adherence of safety guidelines regarding spills, ventilation, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Other duties as required.



Qualifications



Qualifications

  • Preferred but not required Injection Molding experience
  • General knowledge of the molding department.
  • Knowledge of material handling.
  • Thorough understanding of Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
  • Ability to lift and move heavy resin containers.
  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to visually inspect quality and identify potential issues.
