
Marsh Risk
We are seeking a talented individual to lead the Resilience Risk Consulting Practice for the Marsh Risk Pacific organization at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Reporting to the Strategic Risk Consulting Leader, Pacific, will lead, grow and develop a market-leading crisis management, business continuity and organisational resilience practice. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, business development capability, client leadership and disciplined practice management. The successful candidate will be accountable not only for high-quality delivery, but also for building the market, strengthening the proposition, developing the consulting team and achieving sustainable revenue and profitability. The Practice Leader will operate as a business leader with end-to-end accountability for the market, clients, people and commercial performance of the practice.
The role requires a credible senior adviser who can engage confidently with boards and executives, translate complex threats and operational dependencies into practical business decisions, and help organisations prepare for, respond to and recover from significant disruption.
The successful candidate must be equally comfortable advising an executive team during a complex crisis, challenging a client's business continuity strategy, leading a major pursuit, managing practice financials, addressing team performance and building the capability required for future growth.
