The Residential/Rear Load CDL Driver operates refuse collection trucks on assigned routes to collect garbage, recycling, and yard waste in residential neighborhoods.
Drivers lead their route team, work with helpers, and ensure routes are completed safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service
Waste Pro drivers follow Decision Driving principles and all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for commercial vehicle operators.

Qualifications
Waste Pro is looking for safe, reliable CDL drivers who take pride in their work and are ready to be part of a team that delivers Distinguishably Different service
Must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL for the state in which the position operates
Clean driving record required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Knowledge of refuse collection procedures, policies, and safety guidelines preferred
Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) and state regulations for commercial vehicle operators
Qualified candidates must be able to:
Safely operate front-load, side-load, rear-load, or roll-off refuse trucks
Drive equipment that may include a right-hand driver position
Follow assigned collection routes and schedules
Operate hydraulic and heavy equipment controls
Understand and follow oral and written instructions
Maintain route documentation and service records
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, supervisors, and team members
Read traffic signals, road signs, and safety documentation
Applicants must be able to:
Hear within a normal range with or without correction
See within a normal range with or without correction
Demonstrate a full range of body movement necessary for job tasks
This is a physically active role that requires frequent lifting and movement throughout the workday.
Drivers must be able to:
Push or pull up to 50 lbs independently between 800–1,000 times per day
Lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waist height between 800–1,000 times per day
Enter and exit the truck cab between 800–1,000 times per day
Bend at the waist and knees repeatedly throughout the shift
Work 8–12 hour shifts in outdoor conditions, including heat, rain, cold, and other weather variations
