Job Description
If you have experience supporting clients in residential mental health or addictions settings and you're available full-time or part-time starting May 20, HealthOPM has contract roles open now in Brockville, Ontario.
These positions provide contingency coverage in residential programs during a potential labour disruption. Shifts are available days and nights and the work is fast-paced, hands-on, and structured. Staff should be prepared to work in environments where peaceful protest or picket line activity may be present.
Pay: $23–$25/hour depending on experience and location
Who We're Looking For
Candidates with a background in any of the following:
- Residential support, group home, or psychiatric settings
- Mental health, addictions, or concurrent disorders programs
- Developmental services, behavioural support, or community services
- SSW, CYW, DSW, Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related program
- Any healthcare or human services program — minimum 2 years completed
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to clients in a residential mental health and addictions setting
- Assist clients with daily living, personal routines, and programming
- Deliver behavioural and emotional support across shifts
- Assist with medication prompting and documentation
- Maintain a safe, stable environment in a residential setting
Role Details
- Start: Orientation May 20 in Brockville, Ontario
- Type: Full-time short-term contract
- Shifts: 8-hour and 12-hour day and night rotations
- Pay: $23–$25/hour
- Mileage reimbursement available

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years completed in a healthcare, social services, or human services program
- Residential, mental health, or addictions experience or placement an asset
- Current CPR/First Aid
- Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to placement
- Driver's licence and vehicle preferred for some assignments
- Must be comfortable working in a labour disruption environment
