Storeroom Clerk

SUMMARY

The Residential Storage Clerk will be responsible for delivering packages to the Residential department and the individual residence owners in the Inn, the Lodge, and the Mountain Homes. They will also be responsible for delivering the Inn owner storage closets to residences on the day the owners arrive (usually Saturdays), and will be responsible for removing the owner storage closets from the residences after the owners depart and returning them to our storage area on the 5th floor of the Inn. The Residential Storage Clerk will keep storage areas, office areas, and back of house areas clean and organized.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Delivers the Inn owner storage closets to residences on the day the owners arrive (usually Saturdays), and removes the owner storage closets from the residences after the owners depart and returns them to our storage area on the 5th floor of the Inn.
• Delivering packages to the Residential department and the individual residence owners in the Inn, the Lodge, and the Mountain Homes
• The storeroom clerk reports directly to the director of residences.
• Receives and inspects all shipments of materials, supplies and equipment
• Organizes and maintains storage areas, office areas, and back of house areas.
• Inspects received materials for completeness of order and Purchase Order conformity.
• Inspects received materials for damage, wear or defect.
• Conducts periodic physical inventory
• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience as a storekeeper, storeroom clerk, or other related fields in a maintenance environment is preferred
• Must have Intermediate to advanced level of skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.
