The Opportunity
We are seeking a Residential Shift Lead to support daily operations of our residential program and provide on-shift leadership to direct care staff. This role helps ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents while maintaining program standards and compliance.
The Shift Lead will assist with staff support, documentation, training guidance, and incident response as needed. This is a great opportunity for an experienced residential professional ready to step into a leadership role and make a positive impact on both residents and staff.
QualificationsWhat You’ll Do
- Provide direct care and supervision to residents under care by participating in group supervision and reviewing evaluations, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Understand and respond to the unique needs, strengths, preferences, and goals of residents
- Support onboarding, mentoring, and initial and annual training of new staff members and program volunteers
- Assist with the direction of Residential Services operations, including facilitating documentation transitions to other health settings and departure against medical advice (AMA)
- Monitor and document resident health and safety while under care, including internal and external incidents such as common room issues, restrooms, bedrooms, cafeteria areas, therapeutic space management, and outdoor areas
- Model appropriate interactions and encourage resident participation in therapeutic activities and individual/group living settings
- Deliver universal precautions and health protocols, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for care through sanitation activities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to trash removal, wiping frequently touched surfaces, body care areas, laundry, cleaning of dishware/utensils, and common spaces
- Use company vehicles, as approved and assigned, to provide transportation for residents entering, receiving, or discharged from care
- Maintain and serve meals and food items following health and safety protocols and dietary requirements
- Monitor and assist with daily living activities as assigned
- Serve as a liaison as assigned and assist with internal and external stakeholder coordination, care partners, and visitors
- Demonstrate adherence to company policies, expectations, and behavioral competencies, both explicit and implicit
- Perform all tasks, projects, and other duties as assigned and authorized by Human Resources and Residential Services leadership

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a residential, behavioral health, human services, or supportive care setting
