The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.
Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Services Specialist 6 to perform diverse and technical tasks. The incumbent supervises Residential Services Specialists (RSS) assigned to residential living settings (3-6 homes) in a Program on a 12-hour shift in the direct care of people with developmental disabilities, implementing and directing active treatment plans by providing care, guidance, and training, ensuring that people served are safe, use their environments, and interact with others in the community.

Four years of training or experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care; OR
Forty-eight semester hours in education, psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, child guidance or nursing.

Position is located with PINECREST SUPPORTS & SERVICES CENTER.
Location: Residential Services - Compass 1
Shift: 7:30 pm – 8:00 am Pass Days: Night B
Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, Detail to Special Duty or Job Appointment.
Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $1560.40 biweekly
